Summary: Wow! What a bin!! A++
Comment: This has to be the best bin I have EVER owned, although my first taste of Branbantia was a pedal bin I had back in the 70's and that went on and on too! I have only had this bin for 6 days but I am so pleased with it in every way. It is easy to clean, opens wide enough for my mother who is blind to put her rubbish in it without it ending up on the floor and it holds so much! My last bin was rubbish - badly designed and extremely poor quality, I had 2 of them in the space of 6 months and they both broke in exactly the same place and within the guarantee period! (came from a well known DIY store's branded item). This Brabantia in direct contrast, is so robust and I am one satisfied customer, I am just sorry that I put up with the other broken one for so long! I bought it on here too as the price was better than anyone else's and with free delivery too, what more could I want! Don't waste another second deliberating about which one to get, this one is great! :-)

Summary: You get what you pay for.
Comment: I have had my Touch Bin for six months now and am still very pleased by it. The size of it means that it can handle more than a few carrot peelings before needing to be emptied and yet looks like an inoffensive addition to the kitchen.
People often say on forums and the like - "How much? It's only a bin". True, but if you have a nice kitchen, that perhaps cost several thousands of pounds, why would you have a manky looking, cheap plastic effort in there ruining it all?
Yes this is about the aesthetics, I am not ashamed to admit it. Fact is it looks good, is easy to clean and easy to use.
I got what I paid for.

Summary: Amazon customer service!
Comment: Ordered the Brabantia with free delivery from Amazon-item arrived within two days, but was damaged. Logged on to my account to report the problem, and within two minutes a return label was printed and I was infomed DHL would call the next day to pick the bin up FOC.
Within two days a replacement bin was delivered FOC, which in these days of poor customer service from other firms was nothing short of brilliant! Well done Amazon-and the bin is great!

Summary: Looks fab, & still going strong after 5 years!
Comment: As bins go, this one is pretty stylish. And it performs fantastically too. We've owned one of these for about five years and it has truly stood the test of time.
The steel is top quality, the lid mechanism stands up to relentless use and abuse, and the capacity is perfect for a family kitchen.
Highly recommended!

Summary: Impressed by quality!
Comment: I always read reviews prior to buying so thought it about time I wrote one of my own. I have to admit that i have not been a great beleiver in buying the more expensive things in life thinking that lesser money doesn't always mean lesser quality. In this instance I am glad I paid the extra money for a quality item, granted I bought the 50l touch whilst on offer for £45 but having compared the bin to other makes, I was going to buy one from Argos for £24.95, but on viewing the " Chrome effect", I opted for the excellent Brabantia.
I feel I must also give a big thumbs up to Amazon, the first bin arrived with a big dent, I rang customer services who sent me a shiny new one within 24 hrs and then gave me 30 days to have the damaged one sent back via DHL, at their cost.
